Welcome to the The Emancipation Party Web site. Our goal is to provide you with useful information about this fledgling political party that we hope makes it easier for you to understand our basic philosophy and to support what we feel is an imperative change to our political scene.

The Emancipation Party was formed on July 4, 2009 by a group of individuals that felt they could no longer sit idly by and watch the continued deterioration of our Nation into a state from which returning to the prosperity we once enjoyed may well be impossible

A restoration of respect and recognition of the constituency is sorely needed in our Nations Capitol. For any Congressional Rhetoric to the contrary, our elected officials have chosen to disregard and ignore those they are sworn to represent. Such was not the case for a fledgling nations Citizens, and such need not be the case henceforth.

Steeped these many years in political impropriety and an ideology of the accumulation of personal wealth and power, members of Congress have become inured and insensitive to the public outcry emanating from across the Nation, choosing instead to go their own ways for their own self promotion.

We, the American people deserve better. We deserve and DEMAND to be heard, having our concerns addressed and our correspondence acknowledged and adjudicated. Neither of our two major political parties have expressed an interest in addressing these issues of vital interest and concern.

Therefore, a political party “of, by and for the People€”� is urgently needed if our nation is to coalesce, every citizen working towards the ultimate good of all. Many third parties€� have come into existence, yet each espouses its particular ideologies failing to encompass the nation as a whole. We hereby form, advocate and name a political party to represent ALL Americans:
